It is a really cute little coffee shop! The owners know so much about the bean roasting process, and they offer numerous different roasts to choose from. Make sure to take a pound of beans home, it will ruin other coffee for you!

HRCR is my favorite place with amazing coffee. They have great flavorful and fresh beans they roast on site. Bonus if you can get a cup made to order to go or to relax in a cozy spot. Shane and Jane are putting lots of love and labor into the coffee they sell.

Perfect gem just on the outside of Reading. Friendly owners & great atmosphere, quickly felt like a regular. Delicious coffees with accurate taste notes. Glad we bought beans for the road.

Highly recommended. Bottom line, the coffee I bought was freshly roasted this week and it tasted amazing. I prefer light roasts that are usually a little harder to find. I typically brew with an aeropress. The organic light/med roast Ethiopian Guji is absolutely delicious. I will be back!

Great coffee! Many single origin freshly roasted coffees to choose from to order for individual cups. They also sell bags of roasted beans. Very friendly. Stopped over on our way to Reading from Lancaster.

The front desk lady was very friendly and explained her menu very well. The coffee is freshly ground every day. I got the Columbia drip and it's delicious. Such a cute little place tucked away in a cozy shopping center. Definitely worth coming here.

Hill Road Coffee is so great for so many reasons! To find a coffee roaster in our area that roasts with high quality and consistency in relatively small batches (which means your beans are fresh and not months old like you would get at the grocery store), has great drink options in the cafe, and convenient purchasing options including online ordering and free local delivery on orders over $35 . . . this place is a unicorn! Check it out.
